Canina® CANHYDROX GAG has been specially developed for large and heavy breeds. It provides high-quality nutrition for connective tissue, joints, bones, tendons, ligaments, cartilage and teeth. Young dogs as well as performance dogs or ageing dogs benefit from this ‘all-rounder’ for the musculoskeletal system!

• Dicalcium phosphate: An organic substance that is found 50% in bones and 90% in teeth. It supports callus formation, the elastic strength of the bone, the formation of firm tooth enamel, the shaping of straight extremities (knock knees and bow legs), mobility, loose joints; can prevent the breakdown of bone substance in old dogs and supports the skeletal system as a whole
• Green-lipped mussel meat meal: To supply the connective tissue and joint cartilage with glycosaminoglycans (GAG); the joint buffer function is increased by attracting water to the large GAG molecules.
• Vitamin C: strengthens the connective tissue and ensures strong gums
• Silicea (silicic acid): supports all connective tissue structures such as tendons, ligaments and the claw horn.
• Vitamin E and selenium: as cell protection factors to break down cell-destroying metabolic products (as anti-oxidants).

For puppies and young dogs with:
- deformed extremities (O- or X-legs)
- loose joints
- connective tissue weaknesses

General:
- Strengthening/strengthening of tendons, ligaments and muscles
- Development of a stable skeleton
- Development of strong teeth
- for firm gums
- Hardening of tooth ename
- For the healthy bone structure of medium and large breeds as well as giant breeds whose joints and bones are exposed to increased stress due to their high weight.

For adult dogs:
- To support performance dogs by promoting the elasticity of the bones.
- To prevent joint and movement problems in old age.
- To supply the bone metabolism after surgical interventions:
the bone is supported in its natural function.

Feeding recommendation per animal and day:

Young dogs from the 8th week of life:
- for prevention: 2 tablets per 10kg body weight (max. 16 tablets) up to 15 months of age
- for deformed extremities: 4 tablets per 10kg body weight (max. 16 tablets)for at least 4 months, thereafter 2 tablets per 10kg body weight are sufficient.

ageing dogs:
- 4 tablets per 10kg body weight (max. 16 tablets)

performance dogs:
- 2 tablets per 10kg body weight
- 2 weeks before and during the performance phase

After bone fractures:
- 4 tablets per 10kg body weight (max. 16 tablets)
- during the healing process
